The Jamestown/Valley City Bantam A hockey team has clawed its way to the top of the regular season standings, now first in the state (10-4).

Their latest victory on the ice came Sunday, January 26th, when JVC hosted Devils Lake and captured a 4-0 win. In Bantam A hockey state standings, the teams trailing JVC’s 2019-20 record are Grand Forks Red (9-3), Fargo Freeze Black (8-2) and Fargo Angels (7-1).

Last year, JVC advanced to the state championship game and took 2nd place, with the Grand Forks Wheatkings taking the state title.

The North Dakota Amateur Hockey Association Bantam A State Tournament is March 13-14 in Devils Lake.
