Kicking off a double-header for the Hi-Liners, the Valley City High School girls’ basketball team faced off against the West Fargo Packers in the Hi-Liner Activity Center on Tuesday, February 4th. The Hi-Liners were ultimately unsuccessful, falling short to the Packers.
Starting out the game with a two-point basket, the Packers were the first to score after a minute and a half on the court. The Packers brought the heat and aggression, fouling twice in the first two minutes of the game. The first half of the game was offensively weak for the Hi-Liners, with none of the Hi-Liners scoring until Jadyn Dieterle scored two after three and a half minutes of the clock. Valley City’s offense continued to struggle throughout the duration of the game.
