14 Hi-Liners will be competing in the State Class A Cross Country meet in Jamestown on Saturday, October 24th at Parkhurst Recreational Area with a 3:00 p.m. for the Boys 5K race and 3:45 p.m. start for Girls 5K race. The Hi-Liners are coached by Deb Beilke, Trevor Bakalar, & Allison Baasch.

Jamestown, ND — Jack Talley is, by all definitions, a good kid. He made the dean’s list at the University of Jamestown. He’s a member of the homecoming court. He’s a captain of the UJ basketball team and even made the school’s all-decade team last year. 

It was a snowy afternoon, but not for the Hi-Liner Volleyball team, who were warm in the Hi-Liner Activity Center. The team faced off against the Fargo South Bruins in a rescheduled game from earlier in the season.

It was Eagles versus Hi-Liners in the Hi-Liner Activity Center as the Valley City volleyball team faced the Fargo Davies.  It was a rough game for the Hi-Liners, and after coming off of last week’s loss at home, the pressure was on. 

For the class of 2021, this year has proven to be even more difficult for the average student. The impending fear of activities getting cancelled due to COVID-19 is always weighing on the senior class. Because of this, student athletes are doing what they can to make the most of the seasons …
