When North Dakotans mark up their 2020 General Election Ballot, whether it’s in person or mail-in, they’ll see three measures to consider.
Two of these were approved to be placed on the ballot by the 2019 Legislative Assembly, and the third was a submitted petition by the group North Dakota Voters First with more than 36,000 signatures. The group’s measure has also been approved by Jaeger’s office and will be on the ballot in November.
Amendment changing the membership and terms of the Board of Higher Education.
• increases the number of members on the board from 8 to 15
• increases length of board member terms from 4 years to 6 years
