After seeing various TV broadcasts about the community outreach that North Dakota State University Bison Football does, the activity staff at Valley City’s Sheyenne Care Center reached out to ask if it would be possible to bring a few players for a visit. After all, some of the biggest Bison fans in the state reside at the care center.
After contacting Jim Kramer, NDSU Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Performance, both parties worked together to brainstorm some ways to make the special visit happen. Because of the players’ schedules and the distance between Fargo and Valley City, it was tough to come up with a viable option, but Kramer and the SCC staff were determined to succeed.
