North Dakota’s land-grant research university has an extension arm that serves to get the research out to the public. Part of that includes the North Dakota Parent Education Network. ND PEN, as it’s known, is specifically targeted at parents in North Dakota to give them another source of research in the parenting process.
Since they are not holding any face-to-face classes, they have moved to the online platform like many others, including even some farm shows. One of the many seminars they are offering in Valley City concerns a parenting strategy called the ‘Nurtured Heart Approach.”
