T-R Implements New Renewal Notification System Based on Your Input

The Valley City Times-Record recently asked our readers for their suggestions on our renewal notification process as we aim to make the process as convenient as possible for our customers.

Through a survey distributed in the paper several times throughout the month of April the T-R collected 60 responses asking readers whether they would like a notification on the first of the month only, two weeks prior to their renewal date only, before the first of the month only, or before the first of the month and two weeks prior.

With an overwhelming 47 percent of responders preferring to be notified of their renewal date two weeks prior only, the Times-Record has now implemented this process to satisfy our readers.

Circulation Representative Kayla Notle says that all readers should expect to receive a renewal card in the mail on a single occasion two to three weeks prior to their renewal date.

She would like to thank all of those who participated, as she states, "We took every suggestion to heart."

The T-R is next looking to improve online payment methods to make sure the process if efficient and safe for our readers.

The T-R would also like to remind readers at this time that we are not allowed to put newspapers in a consumer's mailbox or hook it on the mailbox as this is illegal.

In order to make sure our readers' paper gets delivered successfully the T-R encourages readers to have separate Times-Record tubes. These tubes are available and can be picked up at the T-R free of charge for anyone who would like to have one.

For more information on the newspaper tubes or anything related to your newspaper subscription, give the T-R a call at 701-845-0463 or stop by at 146 Third Street NE.
