BIG BLUE HEART: Hi-Liners Give Up 2-Set Lead, Hold off Huskies in Lightning Round

September 19, 2014

Name something that Hi-Liner volleyball has plenty of.

Wahpeton’s two-set comeback made it a family feud on Thursday’s
Parents Night at the Hi-Liner Activities Center, but the fifth-set survey said ‘heart’ as Valley City never trailed for the 15-10 win and the 3-2 (25-10, 25-9, 22-25, 19-25, 15-10) match to avoid becoming the Huskies’ first Eastern Dakota Conference victims.

Valley City led 9-2 in the opening set for the 25-10 edge, and 10-1 in the second on the way to a 25-9 count.
