A sea of Falcons supporters filled the stands at the Saturday, Nov. 5, semifinal playoff game between the Maple Valley-Enderlin Falcons and the Linton HMB Lions. The Lions would be victorious after taking a 21-20 lead with 39 seconds left in the game.

Valley City Municipal Airport opened its new runway on Saturday, Oct. 29. Airport manager Larry Lindemann, along with his nephews, were the first to use the 4,200 foot concrete runway. Three generations of Lindemanns were able to be a part of the runway's grand opening. (Story submitted by Danielle Lindemann.)
