Alliance Pipeline Community Investment program has donated to the Wimbledon Quick Response Unit to support education and training. Evan Reimers, pipeline technician in the Wimbledon location, presented Bob Everson, squad leader, a check for $5,000 in Wimbledon on July 16. Funds received will be used to train new volunteer emergency medical responders who completed and passed the course. The newest members of the response unit are Mary Plumb, Wimbledon and Dale Undem Leal, N.D.
Everson said, "I think (the donation) is great — it's very generous of them."
