Joseph Phillip Sadek, age 56 of Tennessee died there June 11, 2013. Memorial services will be conducted at 7 PM Thursday evening at the Sheyenne Care Center Chapel with Msgr Dennis Skonseng officiating. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery near Dazey, ND.

Loren Nelson, 69, of Edgeley, ND, died Saturday, June 15, 2013 at St. Alexis, Bismarck, ND.
Loren L. Nelson was born on September 10, 1943, in Edgeley, the son of Louis and Dorothy (Goodrich) Nelson. He began working at a young age on the family farm, which his grandfather homesteaded in Willowbank Township. Loren married LaVerne Laning on June 21, 1964, at Wesley United Methodist Church, Edgeley. They lived on the Nelson family farm, raising grains and cattle.
He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and served on the finance committee.

Ejvin Mikkelsen, age 92, of Lisbon, ND, formerly of Sanborn and Valley City, ND, died Saturday, June 15th at the Lisbon Hospital, Lisbon, ND. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 19th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sanborn, ND. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and one hour before the service on Wednesday all at the church in Sanborn, ND. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday evening at the Church in Sanborn. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Sanborn, ND.

Marsha Offner, age 69, of Valley City, ND, died Thursday, June 13th at her residence surrounded by her family under Hospice of the Red River Valley care. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 19th at Epworth United Methodist Church in Valley City with Chaplain Ken Schock officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Lerud Schuldt Funeral Home and one hour before the service on Wednesday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Tamera Maley, 52, Ypsilanti, ND died Wednesday June 12, 2013 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.
Tamera Neumann was born November 8, 1960 at Neosho, MO, the daughter of Samuel Neumann and Betty (Rentfro) Neumann. She received her education at the Joplin area school. She attended College at Valley City for 2 years. She worked at the North Dakota State Hospital as a Behavioral helper.
She and Larry Maley were married September 16, 1996 at Ypsilanti, ND. They made their home in Ypsilanti where they resided.

Delores Fossen, 84, Valley City, ND
Delores H. Bahr was born on April 17, 1929 to Grover and Mathilda (Thiel) Bahr. She grew up in Grafton, ND. As a young woman, she lived in Fargo and Jamestown, ND.
While living in Jamestown, she married Clarence Fossen. They made their home on a farm near there. After Clarence died, she moved to Valley City, ND where she did housekeeping and also worked in a bakery and at the Times Record. In March of 2004, she moved into the Sheyenne Care Center.
