Mavis M. Hartman

Mavis M. Hartman was born August 10, 1936 to Edwin and Katharine (Erdman) Grabow in Amenia, ND. She was a 1954 graduate of Enderlin, ND High School.
On June 5, 1955, she married Vernon Hartman in Embden, ND. They made their home on the Hartman Family Farm near Litchville, ND. In 1977, they moved into Litchville, but continued to farm until retiring in 1998. Vernon died May 26, 2000. Mavis continued living in Litchville until moving to live with her daughter in Menoken, ND. She died there under hospice care on February 23, 2015.

Colleen Helen Conley (Bowen)

Colleen Helen Conley (Bowen), 60, was welcomed into heaven on February 22, 2015.  She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, after a brief, but valiant fight against cancer.  
Colleen was born in Trenton, North Dakota on March 23, 1954, but was raised in Marion, ND where she graduated high school in 1972.  She married Cole Conley on January 19, 1974, and they made their home in Jamestown, ND.  She graduated from Valley City State University with a degree in Nursing in 2010.

Jeanette Aune, 87, of Oakes, ND, died February 22, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Society, Oakes. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Oakes. Her funeral will be Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, west of Oakes. Burial will be at Oakes View Cemetery. Robert Gerald “Pete” Pedersen

Robert Gerald “Pete” Pedersen, 79, passed away February 21, 2015 at home, with family by his side, after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s. He was under the care of his wife, and Mercy Home Care and Hospice.
Gerald was born July 2, 1935 in Green Township, Valley City, ND to Paul and Ruth Falstad Pedersen. He was raised on farms in Green Township, southwest of Valley City. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

Walter Frank Kerbaugh, 85, Cooperstown, ND, died Monday, February 16, 2015 in the Griggs County Care Center, Cooperstown, ND.
Mr. Kerbaugh was born on January 28, 1930 in Ray, ND the son of Anna (Corville) and Frank Kerbaugh. He was one of ten children. He graduated from Noltimier Consolidated School.
