Monday, July 20
The 31st annual "Garden Pleasures" Standard Flower Show will be held at the Valley City Eagles Club from 4-7 p.m.

A farmers market will be held in the parking lot of the Rosebud Visitors Center in Valley City from 4-6 p.m.

Tuesday, July 21
The Barnes County Commission meets in the Commission Chambers of the Barnes County Courthouse at 8 a.m.

The Valley City City Commission meets at City Hall at 5 p.m.

Wednesday, July 22
Valley City Area Chamber of Commerce's Crazy Day will be held on Central Avenue from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event features games, food and store sales downtown and throughout Valley City. For events, time and information, visit www.valleycitynd.org.

Music in the Park featuring Minnesota-based bluegrass band Monroe Crossing will be held at the Valley City City Park Bandshell from 7-9:15 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at the Valley City State University music building. A free-will picnic supper will be served prior to the program. Bring lawn chairs for seating. There is no charge for the program, but a free-will offering will be taken for the renovation of the bandshell.

Thursday, July 23
Valley City Eagles Auxiliary Hamburger Night will be held at the Valley City Eagles Club. For more information, call the club at (701) 845-2192.

The District 24 Democrats free picnic meal with root beer floats will be served from 5-7 p.m. in the Dacotah Pavilion at Chautauqua Park. The event will feature music by Joe DeMasi. Everyone is welcome.

A farmers market will be held in the Valley City Shopko parking lot from 4-6 p.m.

Friday, July 24

Saturday, July 25

The second annual Del Tibke Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at the Valley City Town and Country Club. Registration is from 9-10 a.m. with tee-off at 10 a.m. Contact Brad Tibke at (701) 840-0238 or Erik Schmidt at (701) 371-2689 to register, and contact the Country Club at (701) 845-4626 to reserve a cart. The event benefits the North American Game Warden Museum at the International Peace Gardens.

The seventh annual Debbie Gabel Memorial Cancer Ride will start and end at Boomers Corner Keg in Valley City. Registration starts at 9 a.m. with kickstands up at noon. A raffle and dance featuring Blackwater will be held after the ride. A live auction will be held at 7 p.m.

Sunday, July 26
Epworth United Methodist Church's eighth annual corn feed with barbecue pork sandwiches and all the fixings will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
