March 5, 2013

Pharmacist Amy Noeske wrote this week's Your Health column.

Pharmacist Amy Noeske at Mercy Hospital Pharmacy explains how to deal with the winter itch and other skin problems in this week's Your Health column.
"How can dry skin be managed?" she writes. "Firstly, short (3-5 minute) baths are important for people with dry skin. Baths should be taken only 2-3 times per week, and in tepid water which is no warmer than 90 degrees F. Drinking 6-8 glasses of water daily helps too."
