Winter Show Women Hosting Junk Boutique

January 16, 2014

Visitors to the North Dakota Winter Show Women's Division's new junk boutique this year should expect to find items like this restored chair, created by Times-Record reporter Bonnie Jo Conley-Hanson, and other restored or repurposed home furnishings, yard decor and custom creations.

North Dakota Winter Show Women's Division plans to have a new event this year to replace the annual craft show. Mary Ann Berntson, of the women's division, said the new "junk boutique and more" will still have crafts but will mainly consist of booths filled with repurposed, restored and restyled home furnishings, yard decor and custom creations.

The show will be held at the National Guard Armory during Winter Show week Saturday, March 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
