Wind Havoc in the A.M.

This power pole, south of I-94 in Valley City, was one of four knocked over by high winds Tuesday leaving many residents without power for over an hour.

An early morning storm left about 1,500 residences without power in Valley City Monday after power poles and trees were knocked about by strong winds. At least one driver reported pitch blackness from blowing dirt before his semi was blown into the median.
