“Marcus is the best player ever to to put on a uniform here in our eighth year as a program at Gila Ridge High School,” Gila Ridge head coach Joe Daily said. “Our coaching staff, program, and school are so excited for Marcus and his opportunity to play ball for VCSU. He is a tough kid who is a good team player and a competitor. We are looking forward to the Vikings upcoming season and just know that Valley City has fans that will be rooting them on hundreds of miles away here in Yuma, Arizona,” Daily added.
