Davies beats VCHS in Wrestling Dual
Fargo Davies beat Valley City High School 46-24 in a wrestling dual Thursday night in Fargo.
The Hi-Liners had five wins in the match, including pins from Logan Erlandson, Shane Undem, and Steven Horner. Dustin Lindgren and Jakob Ashline had wins by decision.

BCN Girls Beat PBK
The Barnes County North girls basketball team had a fourth-quarter comeback to beat Pingree-Buchanan-Kensal Thursday night in Wimbledon.
The Bison trailed 30-24 entering the final quarter, but got 20-points, including four 3-pointers to win 44-36.
The rally was led by Kayla Erker and Sam Wieland, who had two 3-pointers each in the fourth. Erker also went 3-4 at the line and Wieland went 1-2 to contribute 16 of the 20 points in the fourth quarter. Neither scored prior to the fourth quarter.
Abby Undem led BCN with 10 points, Erker had nine and Wieland had seven.
PBK was led by Jenna Van Ray with 11 points.
Moore Continues Improving in Latest Meet

Valley City State University's Darien Moore continued to show steady improvement in the weight throw and shot put when the Vikings competed in the Cobber Open Track and Field Invitational last Saturday in Moorhead, Minn.
For the second week in a row Moore established new personal bests and school records in both the weight throw and shot put, throwing 20.58 meters and 17.69 meters in the events. In addition to breaking school records, he won both events
Moore's performances this weekend have currently ranked him first in the weight throw and third in the shot put on the NAIA National Indoor Track & Field rankings. Darien also qualified in the weight throw for the USA Indoor National Track & Field Championships. His throw established a new Olson Forum Stadium/Meet record at Concordia College.
A number of other Viking track & field athletes turned in top ten performances, on the oval. Junior Philip Reuer, lead the way with three top ten finishes. He took ninth in the 60 meter dash, eighth in the 400 meter, and fifth in the 200 meter.
Freshman Ryan Hutton showed continued improving, finishing seventh in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.72 seconds, along with Malik Timbers in the 400, finishing with a time of 53.26, good enough for a ninth place finish. Marcelluz Smith finished ninth in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.278 seconds. Freshmen Alex Cundiff also showed improvement in the triple jump in finishing ninth with a jump of 40-5.
Kinsly Tarmann, a sophomore, finished seventh in the 600 meter with a time of 1:30.30. Both Jose Garcia and Wayne Engelhard turn in top-10 finishes in the 3,000 meter, finishing sixth and seventh respectively.
For the women, freshman Jessica Meland had a top-10 finish in the shot put with a 37- 3.25 throw to finish in ninth place. Junior Summer Romine finished sixth in the high jump and junior Anna Fuka finished second and fourth, respectively, in the 3,000m and 800m races.
