Viking Softball’s Win Streak Snaps

(VCSU Athletics) Viking junior center fielder Savannah McMillin went for a hit and two RBIs in Tuesday morning’s 5-3 loss to Southwestern (Kan.)

Southwestern (Kan.) softball scored two first-inning runs and never trailed in Tuesday morning’s 5-3 victory that broke Valley City State’s four-game win streak. In the afternoon game, British Columbia’s offense exploded for 13 runs in a 13-1 win.

Valley City State is now 8-11 on the season and 6-7 in Tucson, Ariz. Viking softball continues their Spring Trip against Avila (Mo.) at 11 a.m. Thursday.
