Sunday rollover kills 1, 3 injured

A Chrysler minivan rolled over Sunday one mile south of Tower City, injuring three passengers and killing one.
The vehicle was southbound on Cass County Road 1 carrying four passengers, when the driver lost control and drove into a ditch. The minivan rolled over and came to rest on its roof.
Barnes County sheriff’s deputies got the call at 6:13 a.m. Sunday morning and arrived at the scene to find three men breathing and conscious, and one not breathing.
The driver, Michael Schlenvogt of Valley City, was transported to MeritCare hospital in Fargo via life flight helicopter. Passengers Michael Dawes of Jamestown, and Bobby Kveset of Valley City, were transported by ambulance to MeritCare.
Passenger Brandon Bakke, 30, of Valley City was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lerud-Johnson-Schuldt Funeral Home of Valley City is in charge of arrangements.
