Barnes County bans burning

    The Barnes County Commission declared a burn ban at its regular meeting Tuesday.
    The commission said all outdoor fires must be cleared with the local fire chief, who will make a decision based on local weather conditions and mandate appropriate precautions. However, all burning is prohibited when wind speed is above 20 mph.
