Monday, 28 April 2008

Dancers  from Teeny Tiny Kix were the youngest dancers in the Just For Kix Spring Show held Sunday afternoon at the Hi-Liner Activity Center in Valley City. The Teeny Tiny Kix class is available for 2-year-olds. The students performed to “Peanut Butter & Jelly.” (Sheila Anderson/VCTR)

Dancers entertained a full house for more than two hours at the Hi-Liner Activity Center Sunday afternoon.
The Just For Kix Spring Show included performances by JFK dance groups, along with tap, ballet, and hip hop groups from Studio 29.
According to Coach Lisa Brown, approximately 197 dancers from the age of 2 to adult train with JFK and Studio 29.
“We have a lot of fun,” Brown said.
Sunday’s performance also included  two ‘Dads and Daughters’ dances, which were popular with the crowd.
Other JFK coaches are Kelly Bennefeld and Kelli Heath. Studio 29 coaches are Heather Earles and Billy Hochstetler. Steve Philips was the emcee for the show.
