Go Red for Women!
Tuesday, 08 April 2008
Dawn Ihry, right, tells of the advantages of eating strawberries to Liz Johnson, left, at the Go Red for Women event held at the Hi-Liner Activity Center in Valley City Monday night. Three hundred women attended the event to eat some healthy treats, and later learn about gardening from Linda Grotberg, Wimbledon, and about how Jody Nelson, Casselton, coped with her heart attack. Most women wore red or pink to show their support for “Go Red.” (Jean Schlegel/VCTR)
