Melinda Rae Hayes, Jamestown, and Derek Matthew Forsman, Jud, announce their engagement.
Their parents are Greg and Sherry Hayes, Jamestown, Susan Forsman, Jud, and the late Ed Forsman.
Melinda graduated from Jamestown College and is employed as a medical technologist at Jamestown Hospital. Derek graduated from North Dakota State College of Science and is a machinist for Goodrich Corp., Jamestown, as well as a rancher.
A May 17, 2008, wedding is planned at Rivers Edge Ministries Church, Jamestown.
