Criminal dispositions in Unified District Court recorded from Jan. 28 to Feb. 1, 2008, with Judge Mikal Simonson presiding on all cases unless otherwise noted, include the following (all addresses Valley City and all pleaded guilty unless otherwise noted):

    Simple assault:
    Dale Allan Nelson, 906 4th St. SW; $200 criminal administration fee; $25 indigent defense applic. fee; $200 defense/facility admin. fee; 1 year unsupervised probation; 30 days in county jail with 20 days suspended and credit for time served of 2 days, with work/school release; $25 restitution.
    Possession of drug paraphernalia:
    Kevin Allen Gullard, 13196 E. Pearl Lake, Detroit Lakes, Minn.; $100 indigent recoupment; $200 criminal administration fee; $25 indigent defense applic. fee; $100 defense/facility admin. fee; 1 year unsupervised probation; must have evaluation; violate no criminal laws; 1 year deferred imposition; $25 restitution. The defendant is sentenced to 90 hours of community service within 90 days or he may pay $6 per hour for the 90 hours in place of the community service for a total of $540 payment to Barnes County Community Service. Bond to be used for fines and fees.
    Daniel C. Wurzer, 1012 12th Ave. SE; $100 defense/facility admin. fee; 10 days in county jail; must obtain an evaluation.
    Possession of drug paraphernalia/Possession of controlled substance:
    Asa Jacob Ziebell, W30 3 A Old Hwy 16, West Salem, Wis.; (Sentence concurrent) $200 criminal administration fee; $100 defense/facility admin. fee; must obtain an evaluation; 12 month deferred imposition; $25 restitution. Fees and fines are to be taken from the bond and the balance of the bond goes to the remitter and the $147 taken from the defendant at the time of his arrest shall be returned to him.
    Possession of controlled substance while driving:
    Kevin Allen Gullard, 13196 E. Pearl Lake, Detroit Lakes, Minn.; 1 year unsupervised probation; 1 year deferred imposition.
    Ingesting a controlled substance:
    Melissa Sue Gullard, 13196 E. Pearl Lake Rd., Detroit Lakes, Minn.; $200 criminal administration fee; $25 indigent defense applic fee; $100 defense/facility admin. fee; must obtain an evaluation; deferred imposition for 1 year; $25 restitution. The defendant is sentenced to 90 hours of community service within 90 days or she may pay $6 per hour for the 90 hours in place of the community service for a total of $540 payment to Barnes County Community Service. Bond to be used for fines and fees.
    Driving under the influence of liquor or drugs:
    Mathew John Kronebusch, 235 1st St., Rogers; $500 fine; $125 criminal administration fee; $100 defense/facility admin. fee; 1 year unsupervised probation; work/school release; must obtain an evaluation and complete recommended treatment; violate no criminal laws; $25 restitution. Bond of $500 shall be used for fines and fees. The remainder of $250 shall be paid at the rate of $50 per month to the Clerk of District Court starting March 1, 2008. The defendant shall serve 30 days in jail, with 25 days suspended, with work release, scheduled through the Barnes County Sheriff, or serve 15 days on home electronic monitoring with work release at his own expense through alternative corrections, Moorhead, Minn., to commence Feb. 8, 2008 by 5 p.m.
    Theft of property:
    Scott Woodrow Booth, 8800 Welle LP, Bismarck; $200 criminal administration fee; $100 defense/facility admin. fee; 1 year unsupervised probation; 365 days in county jail with 365 days suspended; violate no criminal laws; 90 hours community service; may not possess or own firearms; $25 restitution. Bond to be used for fines and fees. Remainder of bond shall remain in place until restitution hearing.
    Failed to register vehicle:
    Andrew Wayne Ebaugh, 479 5th Ave. NE; $100 defense/facility admin. fee; 1 year unsupervised probation; violate no criminal laws; 1 year deferred imposition. Bond to be used for fees.
    Contribute to delinquency of minor:
    Richard William Clemens, 204 3rd Ave. SE #5. Judge John T. Paulson presiding. (Sentence concurrent with another case) 60 days in county jail.
    Preventing arrest or discharge of other duties:
    Dale Allan Nelson, 906 4th St. SW. Judge Daniel D. Narum presiding. $40 fine; 30 hours community service.

    Marriage licenses were issued to:
    William Reece and Annette Mikkelsen, both Sanborn.
