Bryan and Emmy Niewind, Valley City, are the parents of a daughter, Ava Elizabeth Niewind, born Sept. 22, 2007, at Innovis Hospital, Fargo. She weighed 6 pounds, 9.5 ounces.
Grandparents are Mark and Melody Peterson, Oriska, and Joe and Char Niewind, Richmond, Minn.
