Rubber duckies buy repairs for Girl Scouts |

(Steve Browne/VCTR) By Steve Browne The fourth annual Rally in the Valley, Ducking Down the Sheyenne rubber ducky race netted $2.805.38 for the Girl Scouts. The annual race is sponsored by the Valley City Times-Record and the Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds will go towards improvements at Camp Tonweya Girl Scout Camp. Karen Murray, membership specialist for the Dakota Horizons Girl Scout Council, said the money will be used for painting and refurbishing the bunk house, and to address safety issues in camp equipment such as the Bird Tower.
