VCSU scholarship allocations set record

January 6, 2012

Larry Robinson, executive director of the Valley City State University Foundation, announced in the latest VCSU Donor Edition that scholarship allocations for the year had reached an all-time record of $757,000, due to the generosity of local residents and business.

"Needless to say, the excitement on campus is unparalleled," Robinson said in the report. "Our efforts to expand our academic offerings, grow our scholarship allocations, improve our facilities and increase the number of extracurricular programs have paid big dividends. Additionally, student satisfaction surveys underscore the fact that our students are very pleased with their educational experience at VCSU. In fact, VCSU ranks higher than the national average in many categories."
