VCPR Youth Summer Activities Begin

Valley City Parks and Recreation began its summer activities Monday. The boys rookies team practices baseball activities Monday morning at the Hi-Line Park.

Valley City Parks and Recreation began its summer youth activities Monday. Activities include baseball, tennis, golf, swimming lessons and track for youth of all ages in the area.
Recreation manager Amy Pederson said registration is still open for some events, and people can still register for events already started for a $10 late fee. She said to stop by the Rec Center or call (701) 845-3294 to register.
Also, she advises that drivers "be a little more careful when they drive in the north part of town, (because) kids are going from baseball to tennis to the pool. It's always a concern in the summer when you got kids out there.
