VCPR gets geared up

Jerry Perkins of Perkins Chevrolet Buick GMC and Amy Pederson of Valley City Parks and Recreation stand with equipment donated to VCPR as part of the Chevy Youth Baseball Program. VCPR received equipment including 10 buckets, 10 dozen wiffle balls, 10 batting tees, a hitting net, 10 canvas equipment bags and 120 t-shirts. which will be used for all of the area’s youth baseball and softball teams, as well as a financial donation. In addition to the equipment, VCPR is also selling tickets to win a Chevrolet Equinox or Chevrolet Cruze through the program. Tickets cost $5, or three for $10, and include a coupon for $25 off services at Perkins. The regional drawing for the car is in August. All of the money raised through ticket sales will benefit local teams and programs.
