VCJHS selects Students of the Month

The April Students of the month are from left, Hunter Olstad, Brelynn Komrosky, Tabatha Branum and Erik Milender.

The April Students of the Month for Valley City Jr High School are Hunter Olstad, Brelynn Komrosky, Tabatha Branum, and Erik Milender. The criteria for selection is being a hardworking student, respect for staff and peers, and involvement in school activities.

Hunter Olstad, 7th grade, is the son of Mike and Jackie Olstad. His favorite subjects in school are social studies and science. Involvement in extracurricular activities are tennis, golf, and theater. Hunter’s hobbies are drama, science, and tennis.

Brelynn Komrosky, 7th grade, is the daughter of Laura and Jason Komrosky. Her favorite subject in school is English. Involvement in extracurricular activities is drama. Laura’s hobbies are singing, dancing, writing, and hanging out with family and friends.

Tabatha Branum, 8th grade, is the daughter of Sandra and Russell Marker. Her favorite subjects in school are English, art and math. Involvement in extracurricular activities are volleyball, drama, track, basketball, and band. Tabatha’s hobbies are singing and reading.

Erik Milender, 8th grade, is the son of Sue Milender. His favorite subject in school is social studies. Involvement in extracurricular activities are track, football, hockey, and drama. Erik’s hobbies are paintball, snowmobiling, snowboarding, and wakeboarding.

Seventh grade honorable mention Students of the Month for April are Breanna McDonald, Annie Fitzell, Miranda Wittenberg, Jenessa Noeske, and Emma Willey for the girls, and honorable mention Students of the Month are Quinn Bjornson, Matt Brandvold, Drew Jacobson, Levi Nix, and Guy Gazeley for the boys.

Eighth grade honorable mention Students of the Month for April are Heidi Mundfrom, Katelyn Nehlich, Charlotte Huschka, Cassidy Fulton, and Hannah Peterson for the girls, and eighth grade honorable mention Students of the Month are Jonah Wolla, Jordan Magnuson, Nickolai Crandall, Nathan Gentry, and Mark Anderson for the boys.
