VCHS hoops players get awards.

The Valley City High School girls basketball team honored its standout performers April 22. Pictured are (back) Megan McDaniel, Amanda Tangen, Allyson Suhr, Jenna Jacob; and (front) Clarissa Olson, Jessica Denholm and Tori Enstad. Suhr led the team with four awards, including MVP (voted on by the team) and for leading the team in points, rebounds, and blocks. Jacob won the Hi-Liner Coaches award and led the team in steals. McDaniel led the Hi-Liners in assists, Enstad led the team in free throw percentage. Olson and Tangen won Most Improved and Hardest Worker, both of which are voted on by players, and Denholm won the JV award, picked by coaches.
