Valley City High School has events planned all next week for its homecoming. Angela Van Bruggen, VCHS student council advisor, encourages the community to come out and celebrate their Hi-Liner pride.
New this year is a community pep fest and coronation Monday night at 7:15 p.m. at the Hi-Liner Activity Center. The free community event will consist of the pep band, cheerleaders and dance team followed by a ceremony featuring the VCHS Concert Choir to crown the 2013 homecoming king and queen.
Following coronation, the public is encouraged to attend the annual Juniors vs. Seniors PowderPuff Football game at Hanna Field.
