VC woman injured in crash, charged with DUI

North Dakota State Troopers, Casselton ambulance and Sanford Life Flight crews responded to a single vehicle rollover near Casselton at approximately 10:49 p.m. Wednesday night, Nov. 2.
Heather M. Wilson, 22, of Valley City, was eastbound on Interstate from Valley City, en route to Fargo, when her Ford Explorer entered the median and she overcorrected. The vehicle then rolled into the median and came to rest on the passenger side in the median facing north. Wilson was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected during the crash. She was unresponsive at the scene and charged with DUI, according to the police report. Wilson was flown by Sanford Life Flight to the Sanford emergency room in Fargo due to injuries sustained in the crash.
Wilson's family and Sanford Health declined to release her condition Saturday afternoon. The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
