VC Sex Offender Sentenced

William Jason Wall, of Valley City, was sentenced last week to 10 years in prison and 10 years of supervised probation for gross sexual imposition. He will be registered as a sex offender upon his release, according to Carl Martineck, Barnes County States Attorney.

Wall, 40, was convicted in Barnes County District Court by Judge John Paulson in February for the 2012 incident after he pled guilty. Previously, Wall was convicted in Barnes county in 2005 and 2007 for corruption of minors and was registered as a high-risk lifetime sex offender.
