VC Parks and Rec Seeks Board Member

The Valley City Parks and Recreation District is looking for people interested in a seat on the district board opened up by the resignation of a member.

Taylor Jacobson, district director, said “a Parks and Recreation District board member resigned, and we’re looking for letters of interest by people wanting to fill it.”

Jacobson said the appointment to the open position will run through June of 2014.

Jacobson said the seat was held by Brent Gustafson, who resigned because he moved outside city limits.

Interested people can send letters of interest to the Valley City Parks and Recreation District at P.O. Box 422, Valley City, N.D. 58072 by Dec. 28.
