TNT Open Gymnastics Day Sept. 20

August 27, 2014

TNT Kids Fitness & Gymnastics of Fargo welcomes athletes ages five to 14 of all abilities to 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Open Gymnastics Day sessions on Sept. 20.

In honor of Sept. 20’s National Gymnastics Day, TNT Kids Fitness & Gymnastics of Fargo, N.D. will host Open Gymnastics Day for children of all abilities, ages five to 14, with one-hour sessions at 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Each athlete’s goal is to complete or attempt every station — rings, a rock wall, a run and jump into a pit, tumbling, pull-ups, handstands, trampoline jumps and a balance beam — and fill out a gymnastics punch card.

Stations, tiered to novice, intermediate and advanced challenges, highlight gymnastic aspects beneficial to each child’s fine and gross motor skills, muscular and cardiovascular endurance, and emphasizes the importance of staying active.

All participants will leave feeling like champions, TNT decrees. The first 250 participants will receive a medal, and all will receive a healthy recipe and a coupon to return to TNT for an open gym.

TNT Kids Fitness & Gymnastics, one of two all-inclusive facilities in the country, gives all boys and girls, regardless of age, financial, mental or physical ability the opportunity to experience the benefits of gymnastics and fitness while becoming part a family of athletes. TNT officers, directors, staff and volunteers are committed to helping children to reach their full potential through utilization of exercise or the sport of gymnastics to encourage expanded opportunities.
