Thanksgiving Covered for VCSU Students on Campus

November 27, 2013

More than 40 Valley City State University students on campus over the Thanksgiving holiday will be treated to a Thanksgiving buffet dinner at Vicky’s Viking Room restaurant in downtown Valley City on Thursday afternoon.
According to Kari Stricklin, VCSU director of student activities, the student group includes many out-of-state students and several international students, along with the men’s basketball team, on campus for practice prior to weekend games on the road.
The Thanksgiving meal is sponsored by VCSU’s Viking Campus Activities Board and Inter-Residence Hall Council with support from Vicky’s Viking Room.
Other weekend activities for students on campus include a game night in Kolstoe Residence Hall, along with movies and snacks. Students will also be offered tickets to Valley City’s new Cinema Flix movie theater and transportation to and from Jamestown’s Buffalo Mall.
