Teens Packed Rhoades Thursday

Valley City High School freshman Dendsey Williams sends his mousetrap-powered vehicle on a run Thursday during the VCSU Regional Science Olympiad.

Hilde Van Gijssel of Valley City State University said Thursday's Regional Science Olympiad competitions were slated to run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a 3 p.m. awards ceremony. “By 4 p.m. it's all done.”
The VCSU regional event took place in two divisions – Division B for students in grades sixth through ninth, and Division C, for high school students in 10th through 12th grades.
