Student Still Missing

Andrew Sadek

Rogers native Andrew Sadek, 20, left his dorm at the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton at 2 a.m. Friday, May 1, and vanished. As of Monday, authorities had not found a trace of the student.

Sadek, the son of John and Tammy Sadek of Rogers, is a 2012 graduate of Valley City Senior High School with ties to Valley City and Rogers. He is a second-year student at NDSCS studying electrical technology.

He was last seen on surveillance video leaving Norgaard Hall dormitory at 2 a.m. He was reported missing by his roommates at about 3 p.m. Friday. Sadek is a white male, six feet tall, 175 pounds with curly brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing blue jeans, orange and blue Nike tennis shoes, and a hooded black and red sweatshirt with the word “football” in white lettering on the front. He was carrying a black and silver or light blue Valley City State University backpack.
