Sex Offender Notification

High risk sex offender Robert Joseph Schultz, aka Joe Shultz, is registered as living at 230 Second Street in Eckelson as of April 28.

Shultz, 39, was convicted in 2011 of child abuse and neglect after he and his ex-wife played strip poker and truth or dare with two children ages 12 and 13. He allegedly caused a 12-year-old girl to be naked and play games involving nudity and touching. In addition, Schultz was charged with contributing to the deliquency of a minor after causing a 13-year-old boy to exhibit his genitals in a lewd manner and masturbate in front of Schultz.

Also in 2011, Schultz was convicted of using a minor in a sexual performance when he caused a 12-year-old girl to engage in sexual conduct during a performance and to display her genitals to him.
In 1997, Schultz was convicted of sexual assault on a child in Jefferson County, Colo., for having intercourse with a 14-year-old girl on five occasions.

Schultz is determined to be high-risk offender.
