Twisters Fundraiser Ending Soon
The Valley Twisters gymnastics team has a fundraiser finishing up this weekend.
Until Saturday, any order placed through Schwan's food delivery service will have the option of donating 20 percent of the sale to the team by visiting schwansfundraising.com or calling 888-SCHWANS and using the campaign code 40342. Orders can be placed until the day of the event and can be picked up Saturday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Youth Sports Complex.
Money will go to keeping quality coaches, maintaining necessary equipment and building needs, as well as keeping program tuition as low as possible.

VCTA Fall Fun Night Thursday
The Valley City Tennis Association will be hosting its fall Fun Nite this Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the VCHS tennis courts. A free hot dog supper will be served for players, parents and volunteers as the VCHS boys tennis team plays its match with Fargo Shanley, which starts at 4 p.m.

VCSU Hosting Hall of Fame Banquet
Tickets are on sale for the Valley City State University Hall of Fame banquet, which is being held Sept. 28 as part of the school's homecoming festivities.
The banquet is being held at the VCSU student center starting at 5 p.m. with a social hour. The banquet starts at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased from the athletic office. For more information call 845-7161 and ask for Deb.
The inductees to the VCSU Hall of Fame this year include golfer Terry Anderson (1971-1973), football players Trevor Bakalar (1995-1997), Mikah Boudreaux (1994-1996), Sarge Truesdall (1996-1998) and wrestler Kirk Zink (1994-1996). The 1970-1972 mens golf teams and 1996 football team will also be honored.
