Twenty-one riders competed in two rounds, from which Rance Maddock emerged the overall winner and got to face 5 Star Bucking Bulls’ Let Er Rip for a chance at $2,000. Let Er Rip, who has a Facebook account with over 800 fans, prevailed.

The Duel in the Dirt Series heads to Litchville, N.D. on Aug 23, Sibley, N.D. on Aug 31, and Williston, N.D. on Sept. 18, with a two-day finals at the North Dakota Winter Show Nov. 21 and 22.
