Regional Housing Short With New Jobs Planned

Barnes and Stusman counties are both facing housing shortages at the same time as thousands of permanent and temporary jobs are expected to be added.
Local elected and appointed officials have been meeting since December to look at possible solutions to the problem.
Valley City has been losing rental housing units to permanent flood protection buyouts, while Jamestown officials are uncertain why they are short of housing.
