Reading Month at St. Kate’s

February 18, 2013

Special to the Times-Record

Valley City Police Chief Fred Thompson reads to students at St. Catherine’s during Reading Month. Reading is always one of the most important subjects for the children as they begin to grow in their academics. February brought a number of readers into the classroom of first and second graders. St. Catherine’s is grateful to local leaders and family members who were willing to help show the children how important reading is.

Other readers included Valley City Fire Department Chief Gary Retterath, Grandma Cindy Zimmer, and Grandma Marlys Kunze.
