Rail Delays More than Inconvenient for Farmers

Grain piled at Gavilon Grain in Valley City is in a bunker designed to preserve quality. Grain isn't being hauled from area elevators in a timely manner due to delays in rail shipping costing the elevators and farmers money.

Delays in rail car shipments of grain from area elevators are causing more than inconvenience for farmers and elevator operators. In many cases, the delays are costing money as well.
