Planting: Not too Late Yet

Spring planting has been hindered by rain, but is still near complete.
According to North Dakota State University Extension Service Agent for Barnes County Randy Grueneich, quite a few area farmers are finished planting corn and are down to planting beans and sunflowers. Statewide, corn planting is about 84 percent complete, compared to 100 percent this time last spring when weather was warm and dry.
