This year's Cafe Concert is all about the piano, featuring the song catalogs of Billy Joel and Elton John. Choir students from grades six-12 have been hard at work practicing a variety of piano songs that they will perform for the community later this month.

The 26th annual Valley City High School Cafe Concert will be held at the Hi-Liner Activity Center Sunday, Jan. 26 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Monday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. The event features five choirs from Valley City Junior Senior High School and the jazz band, which will perform during intermission.

Phone orders for tickets will be accepted starting Jan. 16. Call Cindy Creviston at (701) 490-0231. All table seats are $6, and bleacher seats, which are available at the door, are $5 for adults and $4 for students.
