Permanent Flood Control a Step Closer

Valley City's Flood Task Force learned Friday what lies ahead with the city's permanent flood protection and flood buyout plan and how the projects may be funded.
According to Valley City Administrator Dave Schelkoph, the city could receive about $11.6 million in state money to continue the next phase of permanent flood protection.
