One Dead in Fingal-Area Crash

An accident near Fingal early Monday claimed the life of a Wisconsin man.
The accident occurred on Highway 32, 10 miles south of I-94 near Fingal. The driver, a 56-year-old male, was northbound on Highway 32 and entered a curve. While negotiating the curve, the SUV crossed the southbound lane and partially drove off the west shoulder, according to Sergeant Tom Herzig of the North Dakota State Patrol. The driver steered to the right and overcorrected. The vehicle slid sideways into the east ditch and rolled. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
